  • The airline roots in Aeroflot’s division founded in 1932. It became independent in 1992. This is how Kuban airlines’ first livery looked like. The design remained unchanged up until 2010.

    Interesting fact: this template features one of the newest Tu-154s which was ever delivered to commercial airline. RA-85123 was built in 2006 and delivered brand new to Kuban airlines.

  • In 2010 Kuban airlines introduced a new livery to its first Boeing 737-300. The new livery was a dark green background with sunflowers running through the fuselage and up the tail. In the same year, airline announced their plan to retire the fleet of YAK-42 aircrafts, considering Boeing 737-300 and AN-148 as replacement options.

    Both aircraft featured on this template are currently in storage. VQ-BHC is stored at LAL airport in the USA, while RA-42541 is being used as a training aircraft for fire crew at Krasnodar International airport (KRR).
